Over the past 13 years Inspire's Directors, Beth and Mike, have built up a strong network of contacts and partners in the UK, US, Africa and Latin America. These relationships are what make each of our projects unique. Every person you meet will welcome you as a friend, not as a client.

Charity Partners

Our charity partners are our most important contacts overseas. Inspire has built up long-lasting, sustainable relationships with each of our charity partner backed up with trust and understanding.

We work together with our partners to ensure volunteer teams are being effective and are sent where they are most needed. We listen to our partners overseas, we do not tell them what to do. Each of our trips is a two-way exchange of skills, learning and cultural understanding.

A fantastic charity which supports subsistence farmers and their families to gain access to clean water and grow more food to eat, store and sell. They support communities to build sand dams which provide clean water and the potential to invest time in sustainable agriculture.

Livingstone Tanzania Trust
Working with rural communities around Babati, northern Tanzania to alleviate poverty through education.

Joshua Orphan and Community Care
Support community driven sustainable development projects to assist the local orphans and vulnerable children in rural Blantyre, southern Malawi

UGANDA
DEOMA
Providing education to children affected by the Northern Uganda war and community support projects to help poor families recover from the effects of the war.

SWAZILAND
The Shewula Community
The Shewula Mountain Camp and Nature Reserve is a product of cooperation between the Shewula community and the neighbouring game reserves of Mlawula and Mbuluzi. The community has set aside 2650ha of land for conservation (the Shewula Nature Reserve) and has a tourism camp to enable income generation for the community.

The Educator's Trust
Educators' Trust India runs educational and welfare projects for children in Goa, India. They provide a non-denominational education through our three schools and outreach project; preparing children for registration to the local state schools

Tree Duty

Inspire Worldwide supports TreeDuty, a voluntary carbon offset scheme managed by Excellent - the pioneers of sand dams, to plant trees in protected forests in Kenya. Every time our leaders fly to Africa, we donate to the scheme.

Most carbon offsetting schemes simply offset carbon emissions, but TreeDuty does a lot more besides. The trees we’re helping to plant will make a huge difference to the lives of the local communities. Trees contribute to soil and water conservation – vital for transforming dry environments. Moreover, TreeDuty focuses on conserving trees that are difficult to grow or endangered and many of which have valuable medicinal properties. Planting these trees in protected forests not only helps to reclaim land that’s on the brink of becoming a desert, but also provides the local communities with a valuable natural resource.

Using seeds from the protected forest’s trees, and with training, water and the necessary tools provided by Excellent, community members can successfully grow these trees on their own land. Excellent also provides training on sustainably harvesting the trees, ensuring that the community can make an income from tree products – like traditional medicines and carving woods – but without cutting the trees down.
