Professionalism
We ensure that all our trips are run to the highest possible standard out on the ground. Inspire have full tour operator liability and financial insolvency insurance, detailed operational procedures and comprehensive risk assessments for every activity. We ensure our leaders are the best in the business with appropriate experience and provide full support and back-up to all our teams, partner charities and leaders.Safety
One of our main responsibilities as a Tour Operator is to ensure all the activities that the group do whilst they are overseas are safe, have been fully assessed and comply with health and safety policies.
We have a full crisis management plan and carry out detailed country and activity risk assessments, which are continually re-assesed and updated by staff in the field as well as Inspire UK staff. All third party providers are fully assessed and must meet our high standards before we agree any sub-contract to work with them.We have been independently audited by the Young Explorers Trust on our safety practices and can now claim Corporate Conformity to BS: 8848.
This means that all ventures provided by Inspire Worldwide UK Limited conform to BS 8848;
Specification for the provision of visits, fieldwork, expeditions, and adventurous
activities outside the United Kingdom.

The Young Explorers’ Trust, on the basis of the operating procedures and
safety management systems evidenced on 14th June 2011 and a sample
venture examined, and is valid to 14th June 2014.

We employ professional Leaders to manage the trip on the ground. Our Leaders work with you to ensure your group is fully prepared for what to expect. They also deal with any problems or issues that might arise whilst you are overseas. All our Leaders hold Wilderness First Aid certificates and have been CRB checked at an Enhanced level. They are also experienced in the countries they work in and will have led volunteer teams of young people on project sites in rural communities. Training
We provide fully comprehensive trip information packs and pre-departure briefings for each group. These provide our teams with a wealth of information about the country the group are travelling to, vaccinations, kit list, health issues, cultural awareness, a history of the project and much more. Support
We are on call 24 hours a day in the UK whilst we have teams overseas and provide all volunteers and their families with a 24-hour phone number in case of any problems.We have our own Medical Advisor, Dr Jon Dallimore, who is on call whilst teams are overseas as well as providing support and advice before the teams depart.

Bonding and Insurance
On a final note, Inspire is sometimes asked why we are not 'bonded' to one of the large bonding organisations such as ABTA or ATOL. Inspire does not book flights and for this reason is not ATOL bonded. However, we recommend that all our groups book their flights through a recognised ATOL holder, to ensure they will be protected.However, as we are responsible for arranging all on-the-ground packages we are still classed as a Tour Operator and Inspire Worldwide abides by the 1992 Package Travel & Tour Regulations. These regulations stipulate that we must provide financial protection for all participants.
In order to provide clients with peace of mind Inspire Worldwide Ltd has effected a policy with IGI Insurance Company Ltd through travel insurance specialists Milsom Howard Limited to ensure that all passengers booking with Inspire Worldwide Ltd are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to Inspire Worldwide Ltd, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Inspire Worldwide Ltd.
A certificate detailing this cover will be given to each passenger as evidence of cover which is issued once we receive your deposit.
As a professional tour operator Inspire Worldwide also holds full Professional Tour Operator Liability Insurance up to the value of £5million and Employer Liability Insurance.
